360 Degree Close Quarter Defense

360 Degree Close Quarter Defense is a completely integrated method containing the "Original Center Axis Relock System" and Weaver/Isosceles together with training techniques of the Reality Based Training Association. Utilizing the Crawl-Walk-Run training methodology the student will learn a 360 degree defense system developed as a method to increase the safety and effectiveness of Law Enforcement and Military personnel in close quarters defense situations. The 360 Degree CQD system (formerly known as Center Axis Relock) allows quick target acquisition and rapid fire bursts of 4 shots Center of Mass in under 1 second with standard pistols. Over 90% of confrontations occur under 7 yards, at gunfighting distances from zero to approximately 10 yards (30 feet) the 360 Degree CQD System increases shooter efficiency and effectiveness.

As a result of this training, the armed professional will be able to:

  • Utilize the 360 Degree CQD shooting system to address the gap in pistol training during close quarters encounters where deadly force is required to survive.

  • Maintain better pistol retention at close quarter combat distances.

  • Develop ambidextrous pistol shooting ability for close quarters defense.

  • Effectively engage targets from contact distance to 10 yards with little to no time to effectively draw and aim.

  • Utilize the system for low-visibility applications.

  • Improve Combat Pistol Qualification Course scores.
